So, not content with blinding those following you, you want to incinerate the poor buggers too ? :rolleyes:
If anything like the other Lunar models the bracketry is designed for a vertical mounting. I've not tried the R2 though. PM me if you are struggling with it though, as I've quite a collection of old brackets - one of which I think is Smart compatible but is at 90 deg to their conventional orientation.

Vertically on the seat stay for me, with a 1/2 Watt on the seatpost/rackbag depending on if I have the panier on or not :thumbsup:
Am toying with the idea of getting another to stick on the left hand seatstay, not so much for increased visibility but more for the symmetry :biggrin:
