What do you think of these lights I bought this one.

Not sure what the rear light is though as I've had them about a year. I purchased them at Holdsworths Cycles in Putney. The manager swore by them informing me that he'd had them on his bike for about three years. He said they were to be seen rather than to see.
That is very apparrent when using them. They cost about £30 for the front and I forget the price of the rear somewhere around £25.
What would you use to "see and be seen" ? For roughly around the same price.

Smarts are great reliable lights, I've been using them for several year, but the lbs was spot on they are seen rather than see. If using them alone I'd get a couple of front lights. As to the rear they make one of the brightest lights on the market, the Smart superflash, I think you can get them for circa £12.

Smart are Japanese. They work and are reliable.

On One's have some cracking deals on Smart lights at the moment. Anything with 1/2 watt or above will be good enough for being seen.

Similary - Edinburgh Bike Coop do their own branded ones - Been using Revolution Hi Vision (front & back) for the last 2 winters and they're ridiculously good. Great battery life and compact so light enough to wear all year round.

EBC ones are also in sale at the moment.
