Just bought a couple of these:

It says to remove the cover with a coin. I am jamming a coin in the little slot to the top of the light (at just about the 2o'clock position as you face the light). I cannot get the cover off at all, and am instead deforming the plastic. Can anyone give any advice on what the right technique is? I'm going to break the light before too long if I persevere like I am!

Cheers,

James

Pretty much anything should do it, keys, screwdriver etc.

Put coin into the slot and twist it to pry the 2 bits apart, are you trying to jam the coin in?

Good luck this is a great light for the price !

Thanks,

I was doing the right thing but was using a coin that was too small to get the required purchase. I think because it's the first time it was particularly stiff/tight but a 2 pence (and your encouragement) did the job

I used a 2p fine with my Smart 7, but when I used it on my(your) newer Smart Lunar I found it was much more difficult and even scored the plastic a bit.
