Smart front lights?

Just recently I have had a problem with the switch on two of the smart lights where the light will switch on to on one of the functions, maybe the flashing one but not any thing else, and then not turn off? sometimes it won't turn on at all.
Today, one of my newer lights now has the same problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

These are the lights I have the problem with. I have used them for many years before with no problems.

I have a problem with my Smart Lunar rear light where it won't turn off (I have to remove the batteries). Seems to be when it's cold or damp, I think the condensation affects it....

Not tried that particular model with the three LEDs but have had several Smart lights of similar shape fail. If they are anything like the rear lights the switch is just not well enough sealed. However if you shop around they can be found so cheap as to be essentially disposable.

My smart one got used on a 5 hr rainy ride and 2 days later refused to turn on at all , tried everything to make sure it had dried out and still nothing so bought a new one and thought i would just swap the light unit across between old and new and hey presto the old one worked with the the new light unit and vice versa

Curious. I thought the rear of the lunars was just a dumb battery holder and that all the electronics were in the front bit. Can you explain this? I haven't had the problem highlighted upthread but have found them very delicate if dropped. Two of mine suffered damage which was small but meant that the front could no longer be clicked on to the rear battery holder. Assuming that the back is just a battery holder I have ordered one of the cheaper lights in the range so that i have a new back to clip my lunar 60 front onto. I like the standardisation across the range, including good mount.

The 2 i have are totally interchangeable and i think like you the main body is purely battery holder

They are quite often on offer at a lot of places

sorry, don't understand - I thought you did a two way switch both ways on your fronts and backs of the front lunar and that both now work. So there was only a temporary fault surely?
