Slicks for MTB's

Can anyone recommend a tyre for road use with my Specialized Hardrock?.

i use panaracer passelas 1.25. pretty ugly but about the best value for money with all tyre prices going up. i was lucky and got last 2 new ones from lbs for £17 each, they are now £21. i wore my first pair out, well wife wore rear out on turbo, but only 65 psi max. there are now some on the market for 26" that go up 125 psi. if you're looking for puncture resistance the schwarble, i think it's schwarble, marathons seem to recommended the most

Schwalbe Marathon Plus - Smart Guard and Continental Ultra Gator Skin are the usuals suspects when it comes to road tyres for a MTB. I would also suggest looking at the Schwalbe Big Apple which looks extremely interesting.
