I have the SKS Chromoplastics on my winter commuter. 3 years use, occasionally catching them on the shed as i get the bike out, a couple of offs, they'd stayed rock solid until late last year when a piece broke near the bottom. No problem, just moved the rod up a bit further and refixed it, then sawed off the broken bit.
Rock solid, good guards.

I also have SKS Chromoplastics on my commuter. It has disc brakes and I had to bend the front stay around the calliper, but otherwise they are fantastic. Good price, very durable and relatively easy to fit. I think they are excellent

SKS's on my commuter for 2.5 years - no trouble. I don't need to use the brake or chainstay attachments as my frame has the bosses so the guards just screw straight on to both bridges and the drop outs for the guard stays.
