Skewers

Hi folks. My bike uses a Nexus 8 hub on the rear so obviously no Quick Release there. This is a good thing. Unfortunately the front wheel did come with a Quick Release sewer which I'd like to replace with something similar to the rear axle. Trouble is I can't see to find online anyone selling a single front sewer that isn't either Quick Release or which has some mad anti-theft tool which I will lose & come at a premium price.

Any ideas?

Your local Halfords, if it is anything like mine, will have Hex Key skewers in stock. Cheap. Not very nasty.

You can get skewers that are sold to replace QR ones for track use. Have a look for Halo Hex Key Skewer Sets.
