Sizing waterproof overtrousers

Those of you who use waterproof overtrousers - do you have the same size waist as your normal trousers or do you need to get the next size up? I am assuming the sizing takes into account that they go over your normal trousers, but I thought I would ask on here before ordering. I am thinking of getting the Berghaus Deluge trousers.

Hi Chris!
I bought those trousers recently, did go a size up but there was no need.
The waist is elasticated with a cord fastening, there is lots of room for expansion or reduction in my case.
