Sizing problem.

Ghost Nivolet tour LC 2 .
Looking to buy this bike but CRC seem to be selling in sizes that don't actually exist .

They list the bikes for sale as 46 49 52 55 58 61 cm but the geometry chart is xxs xs s m l xl xxl and the actual frame sizes are 45 48 51 54 56 58 61

So they list 6 sizes for sale but have 7 sizes on the geometry chart so you cant work out which is the smallest or largest and work from there .

So my question is this , is the 55cm bike for sale the 54cm frame or the 56cm frame because CRC don't seem know .

Yes , when I click on this years model it comes back , this page cannot be displayed .
On other sites selling this 2016 bike there are no geometry charts and on 2017 bikes they are sold as Small, medium, Large , etc , only CRC have them for sale in CM .

Spoke to them this morning , they say I need a large but which one is the large , they are just looking at the same size charts .

Large would be a 56 (L) 58 (XL) and so on.... But double check.

Its a bit of a hit and miss when buying frames like this. Its allways best to sit on a frame/bike to try it out.

Yes large is 56 and xl is 58 , the problem is CRC don't sell 56s .
Here is how the chart looks .
I am either a M54 with long stem or L56 with a short stem

xxs xs s m l xl xxl
45 48 51 54 56 58 61

Edit - note there is 7 sizes on the sizing chart but only 6 for sale , no way of knowing whether the 54cm is the 55cm or the 56cm is the 55cm .

So they class a "L" as a 55 !! 56 ... What is your inside leg measurement.

Some measure the frame to the top tube (55) where really it should be to the top of the seat clamp 56

56 is right for you

They have a 55 though? Could CRC look at the box/sticker on the bike

Yes I think I will phone up tomorrow and ask them to measure the one they say is 55cm .

My heart is set on this one , next years model which is the exact same bike with a different paint job is £1800 so nearly half price .
