Hi everyone, new to the forum and armed with a host of questions, mostly stupid no doubt!

Anyway, recently back into cycle commuting and loving it. Need a bit more luggage capability - has anyone got experience of using a rear rack (I was thinking something simple like a Blackburn TR1) and pannier bags (maybe carradice super c?) on a bottom of the range Sirrus? Commute is a flat-ish 10 mile round trip, of that makes a difference.

No problem at all, done plenty of miles on one of those like that and a few camping trips with front ones on as well.

Thanks for the prompt replies! That's good to know, at least one bike shop I enquired in seemed dubious as to whether the Sirrus would like it, being a fast road frame.

Update - spoke to the helpful folk at St John's St Cycles and got my rear rack (Blackburn EX-1) and Panniers (Ortlieb City Rollers) today. Great stuff.
