Single wheeled trailer

Any one got any experience of this type of thing

Not exactly that model, but a very similar one sourced from Germany.
Build quality was a bit indifferent [ I had to use brute force to straighten the dropouts so the wheel sat straight] but its a sturdy bit of kit overall and I've had no problems with it.
A word of warning though, being single wheel it makes the bike/trailer combo very unwieldy when pushing the bike, especially reversing:wacko:
Also, don't fall into the trap I did and load the trailer up just because you have the space available. Lugging a trailer weighing 60 lbs all in plus two further panniers is hard going over Welsh hills. Or so I am told.

Yeah, I had figured that a two wheel jobby would be more stable, but thought that a single wheel might tow better

Here for rides.
Blimey. That's cheap for a Bob Yak/Ibex clone, and cheaper still on amazon.

I've toured off road with a bob yak. they are great for that sort of thing. For normal day-to-day getting on with life duties I'd want a two wheel trailer for stability whilst loading.

One went on ebay for £30, but I didn't bid as wasn't sure if it was for me (hence this thread!)

Amazon has a two wheeler for £69

Decisions....

These only work with two wheels!

When a single wheel trailer follows a bike, both the trailer and the rear triangle tilt.

On a recumbent trike, the trailer still tries to tilt, but the rear triangle is fixed. This can stress the rear triangle, and some trike manufacturers actually prohibit their use.
