Well being a little fed up . I went out with my mate Dave . 25 miles Otley and back. Just to test the knee out. This was Wednesday.
Thursday night a lower leg and ankle like an Elephant.Friday so bad shoe was tight and walked with a limp going for the morning paper.

So down to the docs, she took one look at it and phoned the Leeds General Infirmary.Got sent for a scan.Had to have a blood test.If you have a trace of something in your blood we shall do a scan.

Well whatever they wanted was there so i had a scan, looking for a Thrombosis.Glad to say no blood clot. But a big clot on the bed,me.I have ruptured a bakers cycst. So now rest,Paracetamol if any pain. But under no circumstances no cycling for a month.

So i am going to spend a little more time on here.

damn ! thats unlucky.
Why don't you try a few sessions down your local gym when your knee is better and gradually build up some strength and fitness in a gentle and controlled way. Maybe a bit of swimming with one leg
Take up a new hobby to keep you occupied like photography from the car window  I just photo'd all the old buildings in my village and am making a website to put them on.
Have a go at tracing your family tree. Its all free online

Build another bike in case you get caught short without enough bikes

hope its improved soon

Just been in the garage sat on a seat. CLEANING my bikes. If you can't ride you can still keep them clean. ( Actually i went in for a sniff of GT 85.)Love the smell of a newly cleaned bike. And thanks to all of you for your kind regards. It is not serious just a nuisance.

Bad luck - hope you find plenty to keep you amused. ;) My longest enforced time off the bike has been 2 1/2 weeks and I got really fed up towards the end.

Still, you can look forward to longer, hopefully warmer days by the time you get back on!

As Beanz says the weather might be better by the time you're back in the saddle, you should have worked up a bit of an appetite by then.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.
