Silicone Grip Strip

Hi All,

I've recently bought a nice Sugoi jersey with all the desirable criteria, e.g. full length zip, 4 rear pockets (one zipped) etc, but the only thing missing is some silicone grip on the hem like my 2010 Sky Jersey has.

Does anyone know where you can source some that can be sewn/stuck on, or do you all put up with the inevitable rising, or sliding down from which ever side pocket is carrying your spare inner tube?!

Ps The 2011 Team Sky jersey doesn't have this either, or a full length zip (it's such a short zip it's not even worth having). I exchanged mine for the 2010 model. Ok... for anyone who is interested, I've found a product called ABS latex by a company called Regia.

It's primary purpose is to create the non-stick bits on those non stick socks you can get, but I thought putting a layer around the jersey would do the trick.

I've put it on two jerseys (one a bit neater than the other - but it's on the inside so it doesn't really matter that much) and it's formed a thin rubbery tacky strip not too dissimilar from what I have on other jerseys. Going to leave it to dry bit longer (overnight) to make sure it's properly set before using it in anger, but it certainly looks as though it's going to do the trick.
