I want to buy some SIDI cycling shoes online and would like to get the shoe size correct first time to avoid the trouble of returning them.

I'm probably best described as a UK10.5 with above average width, although not mega wide. In normal shoes I usually take a UK10, but sometimes a UK11. If a UK10.5 is available it's always a good fit. In normal Euro sizes I'm typically a 45.

In cycling shoes, I'm a 46 in Shimano, and a 46 in Specialized but a 45.5 in Fizik.

My estimate is that a SIDI 46 WIDE shoe would be the size to buy? SIDIs do come in half-sizes too though so many options to consider.

Help!

I'd go down to a shop and try some on. I've had to stop wearing a nice pair of Sidi Genius 2's I got years ago as I now find them too narrow.

I've never bought off the web for shoes as fit is very personal. I'm a 42 in normal shoes, 43 in Specialized, but was a 44 in Lake !

Yeah, try em on first.
I love sidi shoes, but I have very, very narrow feet.. Anyone with "normal" feet will probably need a wide fitting, and if you have wide feet then I'd hazard a guess that sidi shoes may not be for you.

I'm a UK size 11, normal width. Based on this I tried the Wide fitting in 46.5, but they were too wide and too short. So I tried 47 in regular fitting, and they fit like a glove. If you don't have a SIDI stockist near you, get a pair from Wiggle, and if they don't fit just send them back and try a more appropriate size. The Wiggle returns facility makes this a piece of cake.

I love my SIDI's
