There appears to be a gas strut between the down tube and sidecar. Any ideas why?

Always a hilarious display.

I remember seeing them do a pyramid display on Honda 90s, going down Bray Hill on the Isle of Man. Hilarious!

They turn up in an old double decker bus.
The parting shot as they leave the venue is a mass moon to the crowd on the top deck

And I'm mentally scarred with that big lads ass pressed up against the glass.

They've been going for quite a time now. I saw their first ever gig in the Isle of Man - must have been in the late '70s. That may well have been their first public performance.
