Should I be putting on my SRAM Red?

I was planning a bike build project but for whatever reason it didn't happen. I've got a Fuji Team Pro bike with 105 components, its a year old and hasn't done that many miles.

I now have a set of carbon bars (bars on the Fuji are not carbon) and a second hand SRAM Red compact group set and a Fizik saddle. Should I bother to put these on the Fuji even though the bits they would be replacing seem fine (if just not as high spec)?

How much better than 105 is RED? I have never tried SRAM. Would you swap out a new 105 groupset for a well used SRAM Red groupset?

Any advice appreciated.

I'd certainly be looking to swap out the 105 shifters, brakes & derailleurs for the SRAM Red items (SRAM use a different pull ratio for the rear mech. It's a bit hit & miss as to which brakes work well with which leavers as everyone has slightly different pull ratios though any road brakes will largely work with any road leavers) besides that Shimano 10 speed kit is compatible with SRAM stuff so mix & match to what's in the best condition & fits together.

Note: double tap is shifter Marmite - you either love it or hate it.

Thanks for that.
