Recently, most people i know are saying i must be mad to be cycling in shorts.This got me think how many others out there are still wearing them?

I saw some primary school boys wearing them recently.

still see a good few cycling commuters in shorts. Myself, I'm now in leg warmers.

Yes, but under a pair of bib longs and a pair of tracksters.

Edit: Hadn't thought about waterproofs, ta. Will chuck a pair in the pannier.

We have 1 lad at work who only yesterday started wearing long pants,we commented that winter had finally arrived now

Our PE techer arrived in shorts today. In fact the only time I see him in longs is when he's dressed up for a parents' evening.

Saw a guy cycling in baggies today, and yesterday a teenager on an MTB riding without gloves.

You'd be mad to ride bare-kneed in this weather.
Over time, the cold temperature will knacker the synovial fluid in your knee joints.
Keep your knees covered and warm!

Wearing the same shorts I always wear, just reaching mid calf. I have been called mad by my fellow students, but they didn't see the man I saw this morning, in lycra shorts that barely covered his thighs this morning. If I'm mad he's insane.

Baggy shorts for this man, legs dont feel the cold. On trop though two base layer tops a sweatshirt and a Jacket.

Still in baggy shorts, like others have said my legs never feel the cold. As long as my feet are warm, I'm fine.
