Short grips for kid's revo shifters

just replaced my daughters grips on her mtb,same problem,went to Tesco and got a pair of rubber grips for 2 quid and cut them down,cant notice the difference they look fine.
Failing the above get the size that fits he's hands the closest and move the shifters in or out along the bars untill the grips sit at the end of the bars.

Could try these for £2, after accounting for compressing a little and leaving a bit outboard to protect walls bike leans against etc. it probably doesn't even need trimming.
