Shoes & Peds

Hello There,

I have been cycling/racing for many years with the odd commute on my winter bike with road pedals and shoes. This was OK until I have changed jobs.

Plan on commuting more but when I get to work I have a bit of a walk into the office.

Can anybody recommend a good pedal shoe combo for commuting & walking. Feel a bit silly clopping around in my road cleats (Look Keo) and shoe combo and do not really want to change for the walk in. I was thinking along the lines of SPD's but not sure on what shoes would allow for a recessed cleat.

Any help would be great.

I went for the Shimano Clipless Spd M520 Pedals and Northwave Mission Shoes.

I have the same as you a commute then a fair walk.

M520s plus whichever MTB/commuter shoes fit your budget and feet.

The other option Russdee is to get cleat covers for your Keo's- chain reaction cycles do some for about a fiver
