Shoe dryer

Looks like it might be useful for stuffing under my desk at work on those days where it absolutely pelts down and my shoes are sodden. It is cheaper than a lot of the alternatives which retail around the £35-45 mark but I have no idea of how effective it is. The one, no text, review suggests it might be a good buy though.

What adapter does it require to power it BTW? I don't much fancy running it on D batteries!

Scrunched up balls of newspaper for me too. Change for fresh balls at lunchtime and it should make the shoes wearable, by late afternoon.

Hi it does not heat up, but just blows air by a fan, I use it for drying out my neoprene diving/kayaking boots which take a long time in the winter.
As I have a heated airing cupboard I put it in there and the warm air circulating drys the boots.

I run mine from a large 6v battery or you could use a small 6v charger
