Shocking red light jump!

Was driving out of Manchester tonight after a pleasant day at the Christmas Markets. It was dark and we were passing near The Midland Hotel when a pedalcyclist shot through a red light out of a side street, going like the clappers weaving through pedestrians trying to cross the side road and forcing motorists to stop to avoid colliding with him.

At least he did have decent lights, powerful flashing blue ones..... and a siren..... and full Hi-Viz

I have seen these paramedic cycles parked up by patients before but never seen one being ridden in anger.

Thats nothing.... real emergency service cyclists do it without flashing blues! (well ones whose constabulary won't pay for them anyway)
