Well, I finally found what I was looking for after selling the Boardman. I have been wanting to build a 140 travel trail bike for a while now, and finally have pulled all the necessary funds together. I managed to get this.

I had to travel over to Mold to fetch it but combined a trip to Llandegla as it seemed less of a waste of fuel. I'm happy to report that 'Degla is still great fun, and that the new red stuff at the end is far better than the old fire road finish. Woot.

Anyway, I've managed to source enough kit for a 2x10 XT build, and will be ordering some wheels and possibly a Reverb for it next week. Total budget worked out at a smidge over £1400, so let's hear it for internet bargains.

Deep anodised black but the alloy fittings are shiny!

No hot chocolate, just a Coke Zero. I normally have the beanz on toast , but had to rush back to get to work for 4pm
