Shimano TX71 Tourney reviews / feedback

I am at the point were I have decided I need a new rear mech. My current one changes gears like Farmer Giles Tractor!! My LBS has a Shimano TX71 (or similar) Tourney (Bracket Attachment) 6-7 Speed one for about £14. As most of you know my bike is not worth a huge amount and so I do not need / want to move in the relms of LX and deore etc. Has anyone had any experience of this entry level mech?

Well I went ahead and "upgraded" to the Toureny.

It feels pretty good, but I have discovered that I have an unrelated problem with my front shifter so I have decided to buy a 6 or 7 speed free-wheel and appropriate shifter ASAP.
