Shimano stopper plate

Hi,

Quick question... Are the stopper plates (item 4 on the link below) usually available from the LBS or will I probably end up getting one of the t`internet?

how come you need one?

Worth giving a couple of lbs's a call to see if they have any spare lying about.

how come you need one?

I was looking to find the source of a "ticking" noise coning from the left crank of a mates bike, the plan was to remove the crank and chainset, clean and regrease (done), but when I lifted the stopper plate it had split across the hole.

Prolly have to special order them uns from the LBS. Or wherever.
