Some time ago I upgraded my 8 speed set up to 9 speed so had to find some shimano levers to suit as it was an 8 speed Sora originally fitted Now I find that the ones I fitted Flight Deck (ST 5510) still operate fine but the hood rubbers are not much good. Therefore need some new ones have seen some sellers adverts one different sites saying that some of the Hoods can be fitted to differing Shimano brake/ gear hoods and wonder if any of you know if theres any basis for this? I would be gratful if anybody can point me to any sites so I can get some. The Actual Shimano part number is Y-6C8 9870 for the left and right hoods

p.s There seem quite a few people selling these but as a pair complete unit with lever assembly as well!
