Hi all,

I currently ride a couple of year old Cannondale Caad8. I am looking to upgrade my wheels to something a bit lighter and over the next few months am also looking at going 11 speed.

Has anyone used Shimano RS21 wheelset before, I have read lots of good reviews and they will take the 11 speed as well.

Is this a good upgrade?

thanks

Matthew

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I have rs 11`s which i was very happy with , the blurb says it takes 8.9, 10 or 11 speed.

I just bought these and im very happy with them .

I had the RS10's, and I'm currently on RS30's.

The RS10's did 11'000 miles (bulk of which on rubbish london roads) before I replaced them. I never had to true them once, I never had a spoke break.

The RS30's are really due for replacement now, but they've done about 9'000 miles. I had one spoke break, but that was due to external factors. Only had to true the rear after replacing the spoke.

So presuming that in terms of build quality the RS21's are largely the same as the RS10 or RS30s, then in terms of longevity you will get your money's worth I would think.

Will they make you go faster? probably not. But they'll make your bike prettier and that's a close second!
