Hello.
My Shimano 10 speed cassette is damaged and needs a replacement.
Can I fit an 11 speed without replacing the rear mech. ?
With the 11 speed there is a cassette with a 36 tooth,.
The extra low gear ratio would be most useful.

Shimano 10 and 11 speed use different sprocket pitch, cable pull and pull ratio, plus presumably your existing shifters are only 10 speed. You would need new cassette, mech and shifters.

You can get wide range 10sp cassettes, but are we talking road bike or MTB? I'm not sure a road bike mech could cope with a 36 tooth sprocket anyway.

No you can't do that, but you would be able to fit a 10 speed MTB cassette, you would also need a 9 speed MTB rear mech as well to allow for the bigger sprockets, these work fine with 10 speed, plus a longer chain. A 10 speed MTB rear mech won't work with road shifters
