I stupidly bought these as i thought oh i'll have them on my audax bike so it' s nice and convenient going into controls and the like. But it's not exactly much of a pain wearing road shoes, and if there's a chance of bad weather i'll want my northwaves on, which are road not MTB. So that was a silly idea.
Then i thought oh never mind i'll put them on my fixie, one ride was enough to remind me why i don't like them.
I used them with my MTB shoes which already have shimano cleats on as I have M647s on my MTB so the cleats that will be supplied with these are completely unused.
As far as i know a tenner is cheaper than you can get them new from anywhere online so that's what they're going for.
