Shimano Front mech with Campag levers

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Is it possible to use a Shimano 105 front mech with Campag veloce levers? It's a double chain ring set up.

I did for years, shifts just as well as the Campag mech.

Absolutely. All the differences are in the levers not the mechs.

For some reason that now escapes me, I've had an Ultegra changer on on Campag bike for years as well.
