Shimano Exage levers

Hi all,

I've recently started a refurb on an old Raleigh 7 speed, it has Exage Brake levers but the hoods aren't in great condition, I've googled til I'm blue in the face

.

Does anyone out there know of any replacement suppliers or if another make can be retro fitted, I know I could get Tektro or something similar for not too much money but I'd like to at least try to get new(ish) hoods for the exage levers.

Shimano Leves BL- R400 - won't be much more expensive than new hoods. £25 ish. Are they aero levers ?

If they are non-aero levers of similar pattern to Dia-Compe, Cane-Creek make a hood that fits - just needs a little trimming underneath.

Shimano Exage are aero levers. I have a set on one of my bikes.
