i've got a shimano 600 rear brake for which i cannot, for love nor money, find the right cable routing.

tbh i'd prefer to bin the thing and use a modern dual pivot caliper, but the frame is from 1958 and lbs reckons you can't get modern calipers to fit (especially not deep drop for mudguards).

if anyone can share a photo of how it should route, i'll be a happy bunny :becool:
 
I presume you mean the lever as you mention routing?

Is THIS is any use?

This is the routing on my Exage brakes, don't suppose 600's will be any different.

Try spinning the clamping washer so the tab is on the inside/underside of the arm and clamp on the inside of the bolt
