Also where are the best places to buy from?

Go to your LBS, they can tell you what pads you need and sell them to you

I've looked on Google & am unsure whether I need resin or metallic. there are a host of cheap options but I'm assuming they could be a false economy.
regarding the mech hanger I looked on the cube website & found a supplier on Google. I'll have ti have a look back & see who it was.

It should say on the back if you take the pads out. Mine came with (IIRC) L04C which are metallic.

Ok that's a 'different' what pads do I 'need' question (as in not shape but material).

Which is better between resin or metallic depend on how you use the bike rally. Either will be OK for a bike with 105 discs.

Aside from Shape, pad compatibility is down to rotors as much as anything. Some rotors aren't suitable for metallic pads, so you need Resin or Organic pads.

If your rotors don't say "Resin Only" you should be good with both. After that it comes down to personal preference.
