Shimano 105 5700 Brake Caliper Cable Fixing Bits

I thought the fixing unit would have 3 parts. The bolt and 2 plates with recess for trapping the cable?

Is that not the case?

I think I've lost the plate that goes next to the bolt so I've got the cable between bolt and the plate which doesn't seem right.

Any advice?

There are only two bits - the bolt and the plate.

The cable goes under the plate and is sandwiched between the plate and the brake caliper

And the part is out of stock so have to source another.
