I have started having a shifting problem which can be anything from annoying to dangerous!

Shifting on the front, I'd say almost every ride now, the chain will get flung straight over the large chain ring. Every now and then it jams in the dérailleur too. Unfortunately I had this jam happen at a busy roundabout!

I changed the chain a couple of weeks ago, and although general shifting improved, this problem persists. The old chain was just starting to show wear, the guide fit in at 0.75 but not 1. The bike is 7 months old, and it's a 10 speed 105.

My first thought would be to change the High limit screw, however I already get chain rub on the large chain ring and smallest two cogs so surely this would make it worse?

The rub won't necessarily be made worse. Depends where it's rubbing.

I would suggest going back to basics on both front and rear mechs, and adjust them from scratch.

Front DR sounds like it is not positioned properly. Limit screw will need sorting after positioning.

Check chainwheel for trueness and chain length also.
