Hi all, I'm a Product Design student & bike enthusiast looking for a bit of help with a project.

I'm doing a brief survey on the topic of cycling related injuries to help design a product or service to assist with recovery. I know your time is precious but your input is really valuable and could help improve the resources of our community. It's anonymous, and takes just 5 minutes I promise.

Take the survey: https://forms.gle/sPzUgo9gvPNceZx99

Thanks for helping out & I wish you all an injury free 2025!

Completed.

I thought this was a good questionnaire, however it seems to use the language of sporting cyclists rather than utility and touring cyclists like me.

This was emphasised by the choice of image - which was a turn off for me. Was it intentionally trying to select a particular type of respondent?

Think you need to specify that the questionnaire relates to injuries through overtraining not from crashes etc.

Indeed. Does "sore arse the next day" count?

Although to be fair the title of the questionnaire does say.

Early in my cycling career I never had padded shorts and now suffer very bad piles and occasional anal incontinence as a result. Is there any product you have that might firm up my sphincter and ease the bum grapes?

. don't take up cycling if you don't want injuries.

Thats a bit harsh. In my entire life I've picked up a grand total of one scar from cycling (about 40 years ago) and that won't be visible unless I go bald.

Aside from that I've had a few bruises and scrapes but unless you count sore legs/ sore backside nothing else from cycling.
