Shall I rided the fixed today?

Never gone out on a proper ride on the fixed and I am very tempted.

Should I or should I stick to the geared roadie.

Be careful going down hill, A fixie can run away with you, and your legs will be spinning for all they are worth. Do have front and back brakes?

On the roadie I regularly hit 36 down a particular hill. Looked on the soeed tables for 73 inch gear and it is 170 rpm

I will definately take it easy down that hill.

Just had a look at your photos, The fixie is a great colour, what frame is it, and did you build it up yourself?

Yeah the colour is nice. I dont know what the frame is and no I didnt build it myself. Someone in the club has leant it to me to get me used to fixed and to ride at the local track come race season.
