I'm already signed up for it Rob. I'll only be doing the 100 km ride this time because I'll be accompanying my niece and her friend and this is their first ride of that distance.

Im definatly up for this one!

Im doing the 2 counties 40 miler as a warm up, and the 60miler on this for first proper long ride.

BUT... It is the day after my birthday... That happens to fall on a Saturday this year... Oh dear...

Er, I'm not sure! I reminded them when I sent my entry in months back so they should be. I'll check tomorrow.
They haven't yet entered - I've told my sister to remind them to get on with it!

I'm a bit confused Rob ... Someone I know is doing the 60 Mile MacRide on the same day. Is it actually a separate event from the 100 km Shakespeare 100? If it is then I won't be able to ride with him, but if it isn't then we will probably form a larger group and all ride round together.

Yep - the two events are "brother and sister" sharing the venue and facilities, with some common route segments too - Shakespeare 100 is for the sportier rider (it starts earlier for the fast boys to have their head!) - MacRide for the leisure and pleasure chaps ... but the surplus from the whole day all goes to the same cause, Macmillan Cancer Support.
