setting time on the cateye

ive just been given a cateye velo5 (cc-vl500) the time is 1hur fast does any one know how to reset it??

also can some one tell me the best way to set it up i.e where to put the but that goes on the spockes and will the cable be ok raped round the fork does the plastic bit go on the back or front side of the fork??

Can't help with setting - but unless you're desperate, why not just wait a week until the clock change and it will then be correct

Change the mode until it displays the time then press the set button once. If its the same as my Velo 8 which it should be. Press the mode button to advance the hours and then the set button to select and move on to the minutes.

Press set once more to finish.
