Whilst sat in my local high street pub the other day, a policeman & community support officer cycled pass side by side having a chat and I suppose looking out for anti-social behavior etc..... on the pavement.

Saw a police car this morning, driver had forgotten to turn is lights on. I pointed to his lights but he didn't understand or chose to ignore me. Caught up to him at the next lights tapped on his window to tell him. Didn't even say thanks. Cheeky git!!!!!!

I was in the pub and didn't want to risk spilling my pint

Good answer. :tired:

Where do they get these people? I mean who doesn't know that you shouldn't ride on the pavement? I know a few folks who occasionally defend it in specific circumstances, but they tend not to be uniformed officers!

Nearly all the PCSOs, or whatever they're called, that I've seen on bikes have either been riding on the pavement or wobbling about in the gutter. Hopeless.
