Can anyone recommend a place that bleeds the above brakes in London?
Mine are rather old - 2002 vintage I think - they are fastened in place (or rather stopped from moving under pressure) by the "elbow" arrangement I think Magura dispensed with soon after but I'm hoping that the technology is essentially the same when it comes to bleeding/removing "squashiness" in the brake.
I acquired them on a new bike bought in 2004 so I suppose it's about time they were seen to.
Also an idea of price.
I came across a new bike shop that told me they would charge £19 for the pair of brakes but they seem to have changed their mind and now say its 2x£19 for both brakes.
The brakes use this mounting system in case this helps to identify them - scroll down to 5: Evolution adaptor/quick release and click for a pic. They use the "elbow" evolution system. I think Magura moved to the Evo2 system soon after I got mine.
