A 60 mile segment ? You'd basically need to get the route out into GPS onto your PC, then upload it, BUT not sure Strava will let you do that (certainly not the free one).

I use Strava on the Iphone app. Went out for a ride today and on 25 miles the battery died and Icompleted 35 miles.

Does anyone know if I can edit the ride to add the extra miles in to the same ride? I've tried mucking about with but cant workout how.

Cheers

Just do a manual entry for the missing 10 miles so strava will show 2 rides. Is it necessary to show on the same ride?

And get yourself a Garmin

If anyones giving one away for free then ok!

Thought about a manual entry but wanted to show it on the same ride and just wandered if it was possible.

Inthecup, you could in theory create a gpx file for the missing bit, then download the gpx for the original ride, merge them, delete the original ride of strava and upload the new combined gpx file. It would be a complete faf though.

I've done similar to delete the middle portion of a ride when I forgot to pause strava in a building, but that was rather simpler (and still a pain)!

Think I'll just create a new ride for the missing bit. Lost you at the first gpx file!

Thanks anyway.

The route creator (which I think is paid only) lets you do it really easily. Just draw the route, export and load it onto gps.
