Does anyone have one of these and if so - what do you think of it etc...

Comfy if a bit wide for me. I`ve done 100 milers on mine, been fine, no numbnuts. Its on the cross bike now which i use for light touring,great. Mark Beumont used one, if thats any endorsement.

I have a Selle SMP TRK, the cheapest one, which I thought I'd try before committing myself to a Strike Plus.

To date it's been pretty good esp with Montane Bionic undershorts but I haven't rushed out to buy the expensive one just in case it is less comfortable than the cheap one!

I want to do some longer runs, say 50 miles + on the TRK first and then I'll go the the nearest shop (Bike+) and try out the expensive one - they've said that is ok so long as it's not raining.

I bought the SMP Strike Extra last year and it has been one of these "Why didn't I do this sooner" purchases.

I originally intended to replace it, after a trial period, with one of the more expensive models to save some weight but managed to take a few kilos off myself instead and spent some of the dosh buying a second SMP Strike Extra for my MTB.

It's great getting off the bike without feeling that I've been sitting on the crossbar for 50 miles.
