Selle italia SLR monolink

Has anyone experience of these saddles. I just acquired a new one , never fitted . Problem is l don't yet have the monolink post and by the look of it they don't come cheaply.
Nice very light saddle but are they worth the effort ?
Any comments/advice much appreciated

I do have a SLR Team edition.

Its a nice saddle and fits me well, but as said what suits me may not suit you.

I had a Nubuck SLR it was like sitting on a scaffold pole. Very light though

Sure is light , l weighed mine and it came in at 165gr. .. I had the opportunity to buy buy two so if this one works out l may go for the other one . The seller wanted cash and since he lives in Limoges and l am way south we met in the middle, even so it was an hour and a half drive , but the price was low

Have had one fitted to my road bike for a while now. Must admit I bought it for the weight weenie in me . However it’s very comfortable. It was sell off item at Ribble a few years back. Works for me .
