seen on boxing day; any of the edinburgh posse on here seen this? the frame appeared to be made of well sculpted wood, or it was a pattern on a specially shaped carbon frame. other than that it looked like a normal road bike in terms of componentry. night train's handiwork perhaps?

i would have got a better look (and a photo) but he was going too fast and i was trying to make sure he didn't run my 6 year old over ;)

I wish it was my work, I'd love to get the chance to make something like that. I am still working on my recumbent trike though but not had much time to put towards it recently.

I think Sheldon did one by covering a standard frame in that stick on Fablon grain paper. I had a try using some Dulux wood grain finish, dark base, lighter top coat and then used the little plastic thingy to create a grain finish, then varnish. Pub refinishers recreate marble the same way using badger haired brishes and feathers etc its called scumbling I believe

 Sheesh. Jocks eh? Still building bikes out of wood...don't suppose it had a woad paint job did it?
