This may be an idiot question but...

I have (and love) quadlocks for my bikes. They fit perfectly on my MTB and my road-bike but not on my Thorn tourer. If I attach it, it looks okay but a few mins into the ride, it works loose and just spins round with my phone attached. I've tried using the spacers (is that the word, the plastic loops that you can put underneath to adjust the grip) but none of them fit.

What else can I use under the quadlock to make it attach securely to my handlebars?

Thanks.

Electrical tape can stop things spinning - use it for lights on my MTB.

You could also use some grip tape - the kind you see on skateboards. It has a surface similar to sandpaper albeit less abrasive, and if you folded it over and used it as a shim with the mount then it should help reduce slippage.
