I've been lurking for a wee while now, since starting my 7.5 mile each way commute to work a couple of weeks ago.

Excuse the lack of technical knowledge but does anyone know of a secure fork mount that I can bolt to a concrete floor when I leave the bike in the works not-very-secure bike shed.

The rear wheel slides between 2 u-shaped horizontal supports and my u-lock can secure the frame and rear wheel to these no problem. I take my QR front wheel with me and currently rest the forks on some cardboard on the ground but a lockable QR fork mount that I could bolt to the concrete floor would be even better. Only problem is for all my googling i can't find anything.

Does anyone have anything like this or can point me in the right direction?

Many thanks from a newbie.

Can't you leave a d-lock in the shed and lock the front wheel to the frame so you don't have to take the wheel out?

Thanks for the reply, I probably could yeah. Taking off and putting on the wheel takes seconds and a bike with no wheel is much less attractive to the thieving scrotes in the area where ! work!! The visual deterent is a good thing too.
