Mine wouldn't come out with regular brute force or lube, I did consider dissolving it with caustic solution as it was an alloy post in a steel frame. In the end though it came with a struggle when it was put in a vice and the bike frame was used as a lever. The post was damaged in the process but that was fine as I planned to get a new one anyway. Try a few of the less damaging suggestions on Sheldon's page before trying that.
I've seen cack-handed people twist frames and even split seat tubes by turning them in a vice.
Penetrating oil is better than WD85, GT40 or other aerosolized snake oil. But even penetrating oil will only do so much, it cannot dissolve aluminium oxide.
I tried WD40, Plusgas, ammonia and all the brute force I could muster. Nada. It was like it was welded. I think there comes a point where some kind of molecular bonding has kicked in and you just have to know when you're beat. Not that I'm saying you're there yet. Just if it defeats you in the end, don't take it personally. Good luck.
boil kettle, pour hot boiling water over frame and quickly twist before heat transfers - worked for me once and worth a try before you get the drill out
