hi i have a giant defy 4 which i am sprucing up for spring but the bike is up in my sisters for winter can anyone advise me of the size of seatpost i need thankyou for ur help

Whip it out and it may well be stamped on it

he can't - the bike is at his sisters. Seatpost on our Defy 2 is 30.9.
