Quick question - when ordering a seatpost clamp do I measure the OD or the ID of the seat tube?

I think you'll find it's the outer diameter of the seat tube, not the inner (which to all intents is the same as the outer diameter of the post).

That makes more sense, thinking about it. Good job I held back on ordering it earlier today

seatpost size should be stamped on the bottom of the seat post.

IIRC there's only three sizes of seat clamps - one for carbon (biggest), one for alloy (middlest) and one for steel / TI (littlest).

My alloy and steel frames are 27.2mm posts, the carbon and Ti 31.6mm :-/
