I've got an old MTB I'm looking at pressing into service as a shopper/picnic/with the kids bike so I want to fit a pannier rack to it. Problem is that the frame doesn't have the mounts at the top near the seat post but has them at the bottom. I've been looking at racks but the seatpost versions don't look like they'll hold a great deal of weight (certainly not enough for a few bags of shopping). I can't find one that has the seatpost mount at the top while has the normal screw holes at the bottom.
Is there such a thing?
